The North Platte Public Library Foundation was an initial supporter and continues to champion the Creation Station (makerspace) at the North Platte Public Library. The Creation Station was dedicated with temporary grant equipment in September 2018. In August 2019, the Creation Station re-opened after 8 months of fundraising and equipment installation. This year in 2024-2025, we would like to help the Library replace one of it's most used pieces of equipment, the laser cutter/engraver. The goal is $17,000 to replace the 24" CO2 Laser with a larger 36" CO2 Laser which will allow larger projects.
