$5,000 Goal

The Sandhills Symphony is a regional symphony in North Platte, Nebraska made up of members from all over West-Central and Southwest Nebraska. Music is important to our culture and community; and the Symphony is dedicated to enhancing our youth and children through the power of music. This fund is administered by Mid-Nebraska Community Foundation.

The Sandhills Symphony is comprised of volunteer musicians who come to perform not just from North Platte, but all over the Sandhills region; from towns like Hershey, Wallace, Grand Island, McCook, Imperial, and more. Our musicians play not only because they love to play and enjoy doing it, but also because they know how important music is to our culture and community; and how important music is to a well rounded education . It is because of the generosity of our contributors that the orchestra has been able to provide more than 50 years of annual fall and spring concerts.
