Crime Stoppers provides an anonymous method for local law enforcement to receive information on crimes committed in our communities. This increases the number of crimes that are solved; thus increasing the number of convictions. Together, they create safer and stronger communities.

Crime Stoppers provides a telephone number and an internet-based "Web Tips" to encourage citizens in the community to volunteer vital information helpful to law enforcement agencies in the fight against crime. Callers can remain anonymous and are eligible to receive a cash reward if the information given leads to an arrest or grand jury indictment of a felony offender.

The Lincoln County Crime Stoppers program is funded exclusively by private donations and fundraising. NO TAX DOLLARS are involved. The reward money paid out by the program is from fundraising and donations from concerned citizens and businesses.
