We invite you to join us in making a gift to preserve the economic, cultural, and historic treasure of the Fox Theatre in the heart of the North Platte Canteen District. We are currently focusing on our fund-raising campaign, "The Coffee Pot Is On," with renovations and needed repairs to the theatre. Our main priority is to install a fire suppression system in the Canteen Room to prevent the spread of fire and protect lives and surrounding property, in compliance with local fire codes and safety regulations. The installation will create a safer environment for all and help ensure that our historic theatre is around for everyone to enjoy for years to come. The 1929 Fox Theatre, on the National Register of Historic Places, has become an iconic venue and destination in North Platte over the last 95 years, attracting more than 35,000 participants per year, as it is location for lifelong learning and cultural enjoyment. With your help, the tradition will continue, as we continue to provide high-quality theatrical experiences for the entertainment, education, and enrichment of all, in addition to family-friendly and affordable weekend Movies at the Fox.
