Many Nebraskans face isolation and a lack of resources, leading to higher stress and greater levels of adversity for children and families. At Nebraska Children's Home Society, our goal is that every child grows up in a safe and loving home and that each family flourishes in a responsive community.

NCHS serves children and families throughout Nebraska through three core services of Adoption, Family Support, and Early Childhood Education.

Adoption is a lifelong journey, and we are here every step of the way. We are the only statewide services tailored to meet the unique needs of adoptive and guardianship families. By providing customized services to all members of the adoption constellation, we help build resilient adoptive families.

Through our family support services, we support, educate and empower the people we serve. Within our two-generation approach, we connect families to the resources they need for today and for the educational opportunities that nurture lifelong family connection and financial stability.

In our early childhood education program, we give children the social-emotional skills they need to succeed in Kindergarten and beyond.
