NPIce Outdoor Ice Skating and Hockey Rink is designed and located to attract attention to the North Platte area. The 6300 square foot (90' x 60') ice sheet is outdoor with a refrigeration system and surrounded by 4-foot vertical white hockey dasher boards extended upward with a 4-foot transparent acrylic glass.

NPIce's mission is to promote ice skating and ice sports in Western Nebraska. We provide opportunities for families, youth, and adults to enjoy everything an ice rink has to offer, including hockey, skating lessons, and special events. NPIce, Inc. has been established as a 501c3 non-profit organization. Our goal is to enhance our outdoor ice rink to include an overhead roof structure, and to one day progress to an indoor ice arena, and extend the ice season to more than 6 months of the year.
