The Original Town Northside Association is a passionate group of community leaders dedicated to revitalizing and enhancing one of North Platte’s most cherished areas—the Original Town Northside.

After hosting a community town hall, one priority rose to the top: transforming the Happy Hound Dog Retreat into a premier destination for families, pets, and visitors alike.

Now, we’re inviting local businesses and community partners to be part of something meaningful.

Through your donation, we will bring this space to life with exciting upgrades, including modern dog agility equipment, interactive water features, expanded shaded areas, and a dedicated kids’ zone—creating a vibrant, family-friendly environment that encourages connection, activity, and community pride.
