Community Connections

A nonprofit organization

Our Mission is to connect agencies, businesses, neighborhoods, schools, and individuals to coordinate activities, services, and programs that enhance the quality of life for children and families in Lincoln County.

Our Programs:
Tobacco Free Lincoln County (TFLC), led by Ted Pucylowski, works to prevent youth tobacco use & reduce secondhand smoke exposure. TFLC provides tobacco-free signage, policy support, & Quitline referrals while promoting change through media & community partnerships.

Substance Abuse Prevention System (SAPS) fights underage drinking, drug misuse, & opioid abuse. SAPS organizes drug take-back events, distributes lockboxes & deactivation pouches, & supports community education & policy initiatives through coalition work. The Substance Abuse Prevention System Coordinator position is currently open, and we are excited to find and welcome our new team member!

Community Connections Mentoring, led by Angela Hipp, has matched youth with mentors since 2000, providing one-on-one matches, life skills classes, & monthly activities that create lasting impacts. Ted Pucylowski also provides leadership for the mentoring program.

Community Connections celebrates nearly four decades of community impact through collaboration & positive change thanks to our dedicated volunteers and partners. Your support helps build a healthier Lincoln County for children, youth, and families.
