We have a place that we can show our respect for all those that have served the United States of America. There is space for 8000 bricks in the memorial. Families may request their bricks be placed together. There is a directory kiosk that is able to hold much more information about the people who have a brick at the memorial. It makes it possible to put a face to each brick placed at the memorial.
Bronze statues honoring the five branches of service, the women's medical corps and the North Platte Canteen are placed along the Walk of Honor. The pentagon shaped figure lists the 5,298 men and women from Nebraska who lost their lives during the 20th Century Conflicts.
