The Salvation Army, an international movement, is an evangelical part of the universal Christian Church. Its message is based on the Bible. Its ministry is motivated by the love of God. Its mission is to preach the gospel of Jesus Christ and to meet human needs in His name without discrimination.

We are a faith-based organization. We believe that hope is ultimately found in Jesus Christ. We do our best to represent this in all of our programs. Through our Pathway of Hope program, we work alongside families with children to set goals and action steps that will guide them from where they are to where they want to be.

The Youth Community Center includes an After School Program and a Summer Day Camp. The After-school Program is a free program for youth in grades K-12 who need a place to go after school. We pick kids up from schools, provide a snack, physical activity, crafts, library, computer lab, and dinner. Summer Day Camp is open 10 weeks this year to provide a safe, fun, and educational place for our youth.

We service thousands of individuals monthly with food programs. Fresh produce giveaways, emergency food pantry 3 days per week, and we open our building for a community dinner every Friday evening.
