$150 raised by 3 donors

The North Platte Animal Shelter Fund provides funding support for improvements at the Animal Shelter. The goal is to be well-equipped for treating each animal humanely, and when possible to return an animal to rightful owner or place the animal in a good home. This fund is administered by Mid-Nebraska Community Foundation.

North Platte Animal Shelter is located at 1402 North Sycamore Street. Here you can find pets of all kinds in need of a loving home. For information on animals available for adoption from the North Platte Animal Shelter become a fan of the North Platte Animal Shelter on Facebook!

The Animal Shelter houses offices for Animal Control Officers who are responsible for enforcing city ordinances relating to animal control. Animal Control Officers also provide educational and service programs to promote the proper care and control of all animals and instill in the public mind a proper regard for the welfare of animals.

Animal Control Officers at the Animal Shelter work with FUR Animal Rescue (an independent, non-profit organization) to encourage the adoption of available animals and to promote spaying and neutering.

Stop by 1402 North Sycamore and adopt a loving pet today! All animals are required to be spayed or neutered upon adoption.
